Elizabeth began piano lessons at age 7, studying with Karen Larsen from 1997-2001 and Gail Dunning for the last seven
years. She has participated in numerous piano competitions and has consistently earned Superior ratings in Nebraska Music Teachers Association District and State Festivals.
She has been honored at the Young Artist Scholarship Competition in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008, receiving the special recognition of a finalist award in 2002. In 2004, 2005 and 2006 she participated in the Genevieve Truran Piano Competition at the University of South Dakota. In 2005 she also was selected to participate in the Young Artists Piano Competition at Missouri Western University. |
